Masai Mara Safari Itinerary

• Pick up from the hotel or airport and depart for Masai Mara.
• This morning, drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley.
• Stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point. The Great Rift Valley is a geographical and geological feature running north to south for around 6,400 kilometers, from northern Syria to central Mozambique. Astronauts say it is the most significant physical feature on the planet visible from space.
• Arrive for lunch at Sarova Mara Game Camp.
• At 1500 hrs, depart for an afternoon game drive.
• Explore Masai Mara, Kenya's finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary, where the gentle rolling grasslands ensure animals are never out of sight.

Masai Mara Full Day Game Drive Itinerary

• Depart for a full day game drive at 08:30 hrs.
• Enjoy about 6 hours of extensive game drives in the Mara.
• This full day safari game drive will enable you to discover other areas of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
• At 13:00 hrs, enjoy a picnic in the vastness of the Mara.
• You will also make a few stops along the banks of the scenic Mara River to look out for hippos and crocodiles.
• The reserve is famous for its exceptional population of game and the migration of the wildebeest, which occurs here every year in July and August.
• Animals have no respect for boundaries, and hundreds of buffalo and wildebeest can be seen at certain times of the year, as part of the Mara lies across their migration route from the Serengeti in Tanzania. In the Masai Mara, you really feel you are in the heart of Africa. It is prime country for lions, and you can hardly fail to see them.
• All the Big Five can be found: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino, as well as nearly every other kind of animal found in other parks in Kenya, such as plains zebra, giraffe, Coke's hartebeest, topi, impala, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, Defassa waterbuck, buffalo, and cheetah.
• At 15:00 hrs, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru Safari Itinerary

• Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
• Depart for Lake Nakuru.
• Arrive for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.
• After lunch, depart for an exciting afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
• The park is no longer home to its once-famous flamingo flocks, but it remains a world-class game drive destination. Four of the Big Five are present (with elephants being the notable absence), and both buffalo and rhinoceros are especially common in the park.
• You'll enjoy a day-long game drive along the shores of Lake Nakuru, taking in its diverse variety of both animal and bird life. The bird life here is world-renowned, with over 400 species, including White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets, and Marabou Storks. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and the rare Rothschild Giraffe.

Lake Naivasha Itinerary

• After breakfast at the lodge, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha.
• Lake Naivasha is an ancient freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley, set at its highest point, 1,890 m (6,200 ft) above sea level. The outlet for this lake, Njorwa Gorge, forms the entrance to Hell's Gate National Park, which has spectacular examples of rock formations and an abundance of flora and fauna, including some extremely rare breeding pairs of Lammergeyers, also known as bearded vultures.
• Lunch at Enashipai Resort.
• Lake Naivasha is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including a healthy population of hippos, a variety of freshwater fish like black bass, tilapia, and crayfish, and many fish-eating birds like fish eagles, pelicans, kingfishers, and cormorants.

Amboseli Itinerary

• After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Amboseli.
• Drive through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of elephants.
• Check in for late lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
• Afternoon game drive to the exotic Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park, the magical land of Kenya, lies in the northwest direction of Mount Kilimanjaro on the border of Kenya and Tanzania. This park stretches over an area of 392 square kilometers, dominated by acacia woodland, rocky thorny bush, swamps, marshland, and a Pleistocene lake.
• Amboseli National Park is home to a large concentration of wildlife, estimated to be 80 different species, including:

  • Wildebeest
  Among the animals, the park is particularly famous for its large population of elephants.

About Tsavo National Park

Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world. Attractions include elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and a diverse array of plant and bird species, including the threatened corncrake and the near-threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Tsavo National Park is one of the biggest parks in Africa, covering 25,000 km², and accommodates most wildlife species and birds. It’s also home to the famous Man-Eater lions from the independence era.

From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing from the parched lava rock at Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness.
