Head to karen blixen, Karen Blixen Museum is located on the outskirts of Nairobi and is the farmhouse where Karen Blixen lived from 1914 to 1931. Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs Respectively. Considered by many to be Kenya's finest game reserve, the 650sq miles of the Maasai Mara adjoin Tanzania's well-known Serengeti, forming one ecosystem. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. Depart the lodge with picnic lunch boxes for a half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro crater. Descend down the steep walls of the caldera into a paradise of woodlands and lakes that provide for abundant wildlife. Gazelle, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest as well as big cats, particularly the black manned lion, leopards and hyena. A multitude of birds including flamingos are sighted regularly. Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and drive to Arusha to collect picnic lunch boxes. Proceed toNairobi via Namanga border post. Proceed to Amboseli National Park, famous for its spectacular view of the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Arrive at Zebra plains Camp / Similar in the late afternoon. Dwarfed by the majestic snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Kibo safari camp draws on a subtle Maasai cultural motif, featuring natural woodcarvings, traditional artefacts and a glowing selection of local art. Full day in Amboseli with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya's most popular national parks. It lies 150 miles south-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli.
